Dr. Chao Li is a Board Certified Dermatologist who focuses on helping his patient understand the nature of their skin condition and then guiding them toward the best course of treatment.
Dr. Li was born in China to parents who were both physicians. At an early age, they all immigrated to the United States in pursuit of greater freedoms and opportunities. Dr. Li discovered his own passion for patient care through medical volunteer work during his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine.
After completing his Bachelor of Science in Biology, he went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School. While there, he worked with world experts in laser medicine on developing better methods of detection and treatment for common skin cancers. After graduating from medical school, he completed his Internal Medicine Internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, followed by his Dermatology training at the University of California, San Diego.
After residency training, Dr. Li served as a general dermatologist in Tyler, Texas for several years before settling in Phoenix, Arizona to be closer to family. Dr. Li and his wife have two children, in their free time, they enjoy spending time with their extended family and exploring the outdoors.
